Do you bite your nails? Pick at your skin? Pull at your hair? Snack compulsively? Bad habits can be tiresome and embarrassing, compounded by the feeling that your actions are beyond your control.
How much better would life be if you were the master of your own actions? Of your own body? How much better would that make you feel? Many people find that the confidence they gain from conquering an undesired habit spreads to other areas of their lives, and as a therapist, that’s always a wonderful thing to hear.
